Need addressed: automating and enhancing the accuracy of quality control for high-precision mechanical components, reducing manual intervention and increasing production efficiency.
In the precision mechanics sector, the ability to perform fast, accurate, and repeatable inspections is increasingly critical. To meet this need, an offline system was developed that performs up to 160 measurements in just 5 minutes, with an accuracy of 0.02 mm.
This solution was implemented by Delta Visione, leveraging Opto Engineering®’s vision solutions, including ITALA® cameras, telecentric lenses, and collimated illuminators. The integrated setup enables precise part localization, reliable data acquisition, and customizable inspection routines.

⚫ New ITALA Firmware (v3.0.0) and SDK with Linux Viewer (v2025.09.26) now available
The new firmware is a major release, especially in terms of packet transmission robustness, and introduces significant improvements to the overall reliability and features (such as autofocus and polarization computation performances) of the product.
⚫ New ITALA SDK (v2025.09.26) with ARM support
With the introduction of ARM compatibility, you can now integrate ITALA not only on PCs but also on embedded and low-power platforms that use ARM-based processors. This allows greater flexibility and opens up the possibility to use ITALA in new compact, distributed, and AI-oriented applications.
