Does telecentricity means that "the inner or outer object walls completely disappear"?

Only to a certain degree: even with a "perfect" telecentric lens, only half the ray cones coming from the object edges actually strike the detector. As such, the inner or outer edges of an object will present some blurring. That effect can be reduced or even canceled by means of collimated sources.
