ITALA® cameras for high performance fasteners sorting machines
To ensure the desired performance, DGSORT by DATAGEST integrates an ITA89-GM-10C camera with a 9 MP Sony Pregius sensor. This camera belongs to the ITALA® family, a name that identifies the power over ethernet area scan camera series designed and manufactured entirely in Italy by Opto Engineering®. Pairing a robust and reliable design with excellent value for money, these cameras are suitable for any imaging application.
In terms of optics and illumination, a combination of telecentric lenses and illuminators is used to achieve the high accuracy required. A traditional system for this type of field of view, however, would be rather cumbersome, which is why Opto Engineering® CORE technology was employed. Specifically, a TCCR2MP120-C lens and an LTCLCR120-G illuminator were chosen.
